Anybody doing philanthropy has to find something that appeals to them from their own personal background or from intellectual curiosity.
-Paul Allen
Find something you love, and help it flourish. I've been lucky enough through my life to have people help me, and now it's my turn.
As former first responders, nothing has touched our lives like the tragic events of September 11, 2001. We knew many that went in, and some that didn't come out. In honor of first responders that have made the ultimate sacrifice, we support this incredible organization. T2T.org
Pets. Most of us have had them. They truly become part of the family. We had the opportunity, and pleasure, of rescuing "Butch" from this organization. Butch was a 2 year old typically colored black over brown male German Shepard. People would often assume he was a police dog. (My daughters boyfriend was told he was!)
In her memory, and her namesake, we have established this foundation in the hopes that we may touch the lives of people with a little bit of Sofia’s magic. Our goal is to first reach our local community where Sofia lived most of her life before expanding our reach to other families and young people in need.
Therese M. Gigante passed away in November 2019 ending a three year battle with brain cancer. Therese was a devoted wife and mother of five children. The Foundation will carry on Therese's charitable causes by providing support to community food pantries and outreach organizations.
